Good Afternoon from Baldwin Country.
Guess what, you didn’t break Google! You can get back into your meetings with your teachers! Google has fixed the issue with Google Meet and ALL computers should work again.
Don’t hang up yet. We have a couple of announcements for you.
Students being bused in to testing next week will be dropped off at the high school building. Teachers will be there to greet them and help them get into their right classrooms for the various assessments. Thanks again for making this possible parents, grandparents, and all others! We need your support.
If you’re dropping a kiddo off at the school, please drop them at the elementary building. It’s not park, get out, go in, and all that. It’s drive in, drop your children, and keep on moving. In the age of Covid, we have to make some adjustments. I know you’ll support us in this cause!
Yes, kids will be testing next week. The State is requiring us to do baseline assessments of our students. Please have students bring their CHARGED Chromebooks, their power cords and be ready to execute! Your chidlren’s teachers will be here to help them power up, log on, and show what they’ve learned.
Quick reminder, Volleyball is at Buckley tonight at 5:30, varsity volleyball is at Farwell tomorrow at 10 a.m., and varsity football plays at Merrill tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
Please watch for a survey coming this week!

Good Afternoon from Baldwin Country!
We have to let you know that if you have signed up for lunch delivery on Mondays, you must be home to receive the meals. We cannot leave the meals without someone receiving them. This is not our choice, this is a requirement of the federal lunch program.
If you are planning to use Yates Dial A Ride for transportation, you will need to register with Yates. They can be reached at 231-745-7311. Please take care of this by Thursday!
If you are attending sporting events, you must be listed as one of a student-athlete’s two spectators. You must still pay to get into the game. Teams are asking you to pay in exact change. The cost at home games is $4 for an adult and $2 for students. Please plan to pay in exact change as schools will not be giving change! Again, you must be on the list as a spectator for a student-athlete. For Friday’s volleyball at Buckley, Saturday’s varsity volleyball at Farwell, and Saturday’s football at Merrill, the schools are requiring exact change to pay for entrance and they will not be giving change. We are doing the same at home contests. PLEASE HELP US ON THIS!
We have our testing week next week. Information has gone home in the mail, but we also have the information posted on our website at www.baldwin.k12.mi.us.
Please watch for a survey coming this week!

You may have heard the news, but the MHSAA has announced that high school football is back. Coach Watkins would like you to come to practice Tuesday, September 8, even if you’re just thinking about playing. Practice starts at 4 o’clock and goes to 6:30.

As we near the end of our first week of remote learning I would like to thank everyone for their effort, patience, and understanding this week. A special thank you and congratulations to the 10th grader class who collectively had the highest participation rate this week!
