First grade through fifth grade mathematics materials will be available for pick up at the south elementary entrance between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday (September, 24).

Just a reminder that NEXT FRIDAY, September 25, will be a half-day of school. Teachers will be engaged in online learning and preparing for continued instruction!

The football game this week will be on Saturday at 12 noon at Manistee Catholic Central. Student-athletes are able to give tickets to two spectators. There will be no concessions available.

Ms. Holton has created a helpful tutorial for all of you parents and students that do not have an internet connection and are working offline. On Saturday, September 12, we will have the first day of middle school volleyball practice in the high school gym from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. with varsity coach Mr. Roberts. Please bring your own water container and wear a face mask and appropriate practice gear. The screening process will take place prior to practice starting at 10:45 a.m. Hand sanitizing will follow as the students enter. Physicals from last year are valid but if you did not have a physical last yea, you must get one. If you have any questions please contact Coach Roberts at 231-631-0561.

First, we apologize for the late notice but we are asking you to pick up your meals for the week today, September 8. We cannot begin delivering the meals until September 21. We will also be scheduling a flash drive pick up and exchange for anyone who needs an updated flash drive. We will be letting you know soon when the exchange will be. #GoPanthers!

You may have heard the news, but the MHSAA has announced that high school football is back. Coach Watkins would like you to come to practice Tuesday, September 8, even if you’re just thinking about playing. Practice starts at 4 o’clock and goes to 6:30.

As we near the end of our first week of remote learning I would like to thank everyone for their effort, patience, and understanding this week. A special thank you and congratulations to the 10th grader class who collectively had the highest participation rate this week!

The Baldwin Elementary School team would like to invite you to our virtual parent orientation Wednesday, August 26 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Grade level, fine arts/physical education and special education teachers will be available for drop in meetings via Google Meet. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teachers, learn about our programming and ask questions. To access your child's teachers' Google Meets you will need to login using your child’s Baldwin email address and password. Once logged in, look for the email titled parent orientation and click on the appropriate Google Meet links. Baldwin Jr/Sr High School will also host a virtual Parent Orientation on Wednesday, August 26 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. In order to access the parent meeting you will need to log into your student's school account where you will find an invitation from their Advisory teacher. 6th and 9th grade classes will be from 6:00 to 6:20. 7th and 10th grade classes from 6:20 to 6:40 and 8th, 11th and 12th from 6:40 to 7:00. Cross country practice is open to anyone with a physical from last year or this year. We meet at 3:15 Tuesday and Thursday this week, on the basketball court, outside of Mrs. McGahey's classroom. They can contact Mrs. McGahey at mcgaheyn@bcsdmi.com if you have any questions.

Hi Panthers! We found out today that some of the Chromebooks we have issued have a Google update that needs to take place. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it’s a pretty easy fix. 1. You need to get onto Wifi, log in to your Chromebook, and open a website. 2. Then, turn your Chromebook off to reset it. 3. Next, turn your Chromebook back on. 4. This should enable a new setting allowing you to be able to access the Chromebook and flash drive when you are offline. #GoPanthers

To the families around Baldwin Community Schools! We are preparing to get ready to head to the school meal pick-up sites. We will be ready to hand out meals at 9:30 AM.
