Secondary Students and Families: We learned a lot about remote learning during the first semester. Here is a review of some of those takeaways to help you get the second semester off to a great start. https://youtu.be/HMBTcdhHZFs

Secondary Students and Parents: With the start of the second semester I wanted to make sure you all had an update about your schedule. Hopefully this video helps explain it to you. https://youtu.be/SQa2dW22YkQ

The schedule of classes for second semester had a small typo that I would like to correct. Tuesdays and Friday will be 5th, 6th and 7th hour. (The same schedule as first semester.)

Elementary students, the end of the second quarter is almost here. Make sure that all of your work is submitted by the end of the school day this Thursday.

Congratulations to those 6th and 7th grade students in Mr. Graham's Intro to Theatre exploratory class for their outstanding online/virtual presentation of "Back to School." You all did an excellent job!

MS and HS Families: At the end of each semester, exams are given to students. Because of the online format this year, it will look a little different. Please review the schedule and discuss it with your student. Ask your teachers, if you have any questions. A copy of this schedule was mailed with progress reports last week and will go home again with progress reports next week.
Exams are 20% of the final grade for each class. That means each marking period counts as 40% of your semester grade and the exam is 20%. You must have a passing semester grade to receive the half credit for that semester of the class. High school students, these are the credits you need to graduate.

Elementary students, today is the last day that work from the first quarter can be submitted to your teachers. Don't miss this opportunity to improve your grade!

Elementary students, work from the first quarter can be submitted to your teachers until this Friday, November 13th. Don't miss this opportunity to improve your grade!

Elementary students, don't miss out on this opportunity to improve your grade! Student work from the first marking period can be submitted to your teachers until this Friday, November 13th.

Elementary students, you have until this Friday (11/13/2020) to get work from the first marking period completed and submitted to your teachers for credit. Don't miss out on this opportunity to improve your grade!

Secondary students, you have until noon next Friday (11/13/2020) to get work from the first marking period completed and submitted to your teachers for credit. Don't miss out on this opportunity to improve your grade!

11th and 12th Grade Students: We have a NEW Chromebook for you! Please come to the back of the High School on Thursday (11/5/2020) between 10:00 and 3:00 with your current Chromebook and power cord so we can exchange it for you.

Jr/Sr High School Students: Any student who wants to submit work from the first marking period, regardless of their marking period grade, can do so until noon on November 13th.

Good Afternoon from Baldwin Country.
Guess what, you didn’t break Google! You can get back into your meetings with your teachers! Google has fixed the issue with Google Meet and ALL computers should work again.
Don’t hang up yet. We have a couple of announcements for you.
Students being bused in to testing next week will be dropped off at the high school building. Teachers will be there to greet them and help them get into their right classrooms for the various assessments. Thanks again for making this possible parents, grandparents, and all others! We need your support.
If you’re dropping a kiddo off at the school, please drop them at the elementary building. It’s not park, get out, go in, and all that. It’s drive in, drop your children, and keep on moving. In the age of Covid, we have to make some adjustments. I know you’ll support us in this cause!
Yes, kids will be testing next week. The State is requiring us to do baseline assessments of our students. Please have students bring their CHARGED Chromebooks, their power cords and be ready to execute! Your chidlren’s teachers will be here to help them power up, log on, and show what they’ve learned.
Quick reminder, Volleyball is at Buckley tonight at 5:30, varsity volleyball is at Farwell tomorrow at 10 a.m., and varsity football plays at Merrill tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
Please watch for a survey coming this week!
#GoPanthers!

If you have not yet registered your student for transportation, please contact Yates Dial a Ride as soon as possible. Busses will be running next week (with Covid protocols) for K-8 testing.

Good Afternoon from Baldwin Country!
We have to let you know that if you have signed up for lunch delivery on Mondays, you must be home to receive the meals. We cannot leave the meals without someone receiving them. This is not our choice, this is a requirement of the federal lunch program.
If you are planning to use Yates Dial A Ride for transportation, you will need to register with Yates. They can be reached at 231-745-7311. Please take care of this by Thursday!
If you are attending sporting events, you must be listed as one of a student-athlete’s two spectators. You must still pay to get into the game. Teams are asking you to pay in exact change. The cost at home games is $4 for an adult and $2 for students. Please plan to pay in exact change as schools will not be giving change! Again, you must be on the list as a spectator for a student-athlete. For Friday’s volleyball at Buckley, Saturday’s varsity volleyball at Farwell, and Saturday’s football at Merrill, the schools are requiring exact change to pay for entrance and they will not be giving change. We are doing the same at home contests. PLEASE HELP US ON THIS!
We have our testing week next week. Information has gone home in the mail, but we also have the information posted on our website at www.baldwin.k12.mi.us.
Please watch for a survey coming this week!

Hi Panthers!
We found out today that some of the Chromebooks we have issued have a Google update that needs to take place.
We apologize for this inconvenience, but it’s a pretty easy fix.
1. You need to get onto Wifi, log in to your Chromebook, and open a website.
2. Then, turn your Chromebook off to reset it.
3. Next, turn your Chromebook back on.
4. This should enable a new setting allowing you to be able to access the Chromebook and flash drive when you are offline.
#GoPanthers

Please plan to join us on the evening of August 26th for a virtual parent orientation. Emails will be sent to student accounts by Tuesday with links to Google Meetings.

We are getting ready to go live with the new website!

We still have some locker contents available for pick up. Just ask during food distribution and we will be happy to get things for you.
