The Baldwin High School Marching Band ended its season with a successful show on October 8 at Baldwin's Homecoming. Under the direction of Mr. Brian Parent, the band marched and played three tunes starting with "Gimme Some Lovin'," "Proud Mary," and finishing the show with "Thriller." Mr. Parent says "I couldn’t be more proud of the band. We have come a long way and the band had a great time with show, and we think the community enjoyed it as well." At the end of the show, the Marching Band marched up to the bleachers playing the fight song where they were greeted by the fans in the stands to root on their Panthers. With the completion of the marching season, the band is getting prepared for their concert season. The first performance will be on November 11th for Veterans Day. On November 23rd, Baldwin High School will be hosting Mass Band Day. Bands from nine surrounding schools will be joining Baldwin in a mass concert at 7PM for this event. There will be free admission for this event.
